Time Blocking for 2010!

  1. Great info as always.

  2. Hi Joey – Thanks – You’ve supplied us with yet another good idea and resource. I’mm looking forward to having you on my “board of internet brains” in 2010 and can’t wait to see what you have to offer in this coming year!

Thanks again and wishing you and your family a happy, healthy and wealthy 2010!

  3. Wow, I didn’t think I’d comment, but that schedule is really impressive. As a parent, I love that you are running a successful business and doing all the other required stuff while keeping nights and weekends available for family time. It’s not easy to schedule the gym and mindset and learning and work all in a day!

  5. Thanks for the incite on how you structure your day

  6. Joey… FANTASTIC – but of course, you don’t expect anything less!;-))

This time blocker is what I’ve been trying to figure out myself. And, as is customary, you came to the rescue.

Thanks again Joey, for another very usable idea for our daily activities.

    Yours,

  7. Great information. Thank you Joey!

Now, I just need to figure out how to squeeze my 9-to-5 in there, too. That is, until I’m making enough to say g’bye to it. ;)

One quick question: By “mindset” are you just getting into the mindset for whatever tasks you have for the day? If so, maybe you could clarify what exactly that entails (tactics, tips, or otherwise). Meditation? Drawing up a daily task list on paper? Guitar Hero? etc. ;)

    Thanks again!

  8. Great spreadsheet – years ago (in a former life as realtor) a trainer told us that we should fill out our time planners for a year in advance (in pencil, so we could make changes as would obviously be necessary). His instruction was that before plugging in the necessary blocks of activities, two full days should be cleared for time off; then, a minimum amount of time for the number of activities relative to success in our field were to be plugged in wherever we liked in the remaining five days. His point was that having specific expectations of ourselves would preclude floundering, wondering what to do next, getting distracted (very easily allowed when self employed). Love your 21st century version!

  9. Good grief, where are my manners – and THANK YOU so much for sharing!

  10. Great Work Joey,
I feel that this is one of the most important aspects of a home business. If you flail around with your business because you can’t get your time managed you will fail. I go to college online and have the same time issues…”If you fail to plan (time & relationships) you plan to fail in life and in business”. Have a Plan, including the most important plan of all, your time! Great Advice, and it was free…the kind people seem to ignore! Too Bad!

  11. This is great! Thanks for sharing. I am inspired to put my own together with these balanced aspects. What a great gift to start the year.

Thanks Joey. That is such a value to show others as you have done, to leverage your time and know how you are going to use it for making a life style of your dreams. Thanks so much

    Hey Joey

Thanks for the example. I have been trying to figure out how to structure my week and this will be a good templet.

When will IMOG kick off this year?
